I had hoped we could work together with the WDs on school related issues as well as HOA problems but your repeated negative attitude in FBN towards our people in the FBN threads makes that almost impossible (this is a bipartisan group of taxpayers and homeowners, not republicans, indep., demos or others, just mutual interests in taking back local control).

Dems took about 30 new House seats and appear to be in control of the new Senate. The Bush administration - and the Republican right wing - are over. Yeah, the Kerry guy is an idiot, alright.
Actually I did read the text of his speech in which he made the "you end up in Iraq" comment. It was a botched line, as he said - a mistake in his words. But aside from that - were he actually referring to the educational level of our troops, he would actually be correct - not that relevant facts matter to a right-winger, of course.
Our military depends on a steady supply of high school dropouts and non-college material high school grads. In fact, the military has recently lowered its standards for entrance. The fact is that better educated people, by far, avoid military service and that's been the trend for decades now.

Kerry was wrong, and he's still an idiot. And he's slandered the troops on more than one occasion before -- heck, he built his political career on it! This was just the latest insult.
Look, I don't mind liberals... and I'm all for facts despite your ignorant protestation to the contrary... But you remind me of that old Reagan quote about some liberals: "It's not that they're ignorant... it's just that they know so much that isn't so!"
